Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz admits he may have "stretched too far a couple times" when it comes to side projects. In addition to his duties as the band's bassist and lyricist, Wentz is also hosting the current season of Oxygen's reality series "Best Ink" and has previously started his own fashion line, directed music videos, and made multiple appearances on "One Tree Hill," just to name a few.
But he isn't stopping there. Wentz tells "The Hollywood Reporter" he'd love to tackle a film score next, or maybe even voice a character in an animated movie. He explains that his four-year-old son thinks it's cool that dad is in a band, but he says it would be "a lot cooler" if he was in "The Smurfs."
In the meantime, Wentz and his Fall Out Boy bandmates are on the road supporting their comeback album, Save Rock and Roll. The band started the tour earlier this week, and are scheduled to play to their hometown crowd next with Thursday's show in Chicago.
